In 1942 CAVES IMPÉRIO - Imperial Vinícola, Lda, was founded, dedicated to the production of wines and liqueurs. In 1981, CAVES IMPÉRIO, SA was founded. In 1943, thanks to its location and commitment of its members, possible to build the first warehouse and first basement for wine aging and production of natural sparkling wine by the champagne method. In the following years the facilities were increased, its range of products was extended and its qualities perfected to satisfy the most demanding consumer.
