The AcR (Adega Cooperativa do Redondo) was founded in 1956 by a group of 14 winemakers, confirming the wine potential of the Alentejo in the 80's. Today, Adega is one of the largest wine producers in the Alentejo region, bringing together about two hundred approximately 95% of the Redondo sub-region.
