With vineyards in the Douro Superior around Almendra, Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira (CARM) has been involved in viticulture in the region since the end of the 19th century. Currently, the oldest vineyard dates back to 1966, and since then, new traditional grape varieties have been introduced, converted to Organic Production.

With the construction of the winery, since 2004 they have been producing wines that reflect their passion for the land and respect for nature, which smell and taste of the earth, schist, cistus, flowers and wild fruits. With a new approach, they emerge as vegan wines, incorporating ethical and sustainable principles.
